For many, male beauty, Renaissance for exception, one of the most majestic and beautiful works of all time.
The David.
This giant, of unnatural beauty, was born from the hands of the great Michelangelo, who immediately after creating piety, was called by the work of the cathedral of Florence to create this magnificence.
A sculpture, which depicted King David, ready to hit the giant.
Born from a block from the quarries of Carrara, which had been lying in the cathedral’s shop for more than 40 years, this sculpture was then placed in piazza della signoria, (even if originally it had to be placed on a spur of the cathedral) becoming the symbol of Florentine freedom against the enemies of the time.
