Who knows if today, Maestro Bernini would be happy to meet here, and see the results of the restoration revealed in the Cornaro Chapel in the Roman church of Santa Maria Vittoria.
Celebrated for the suggestion and the charm that gives the Santa Teresa d’Avila sculpted in Carrara marble, the chapel has brought back to light many small details, which were covered with a neofumo that obscured figures and colors due to a fire that almost destroyed it.
Lasting approximately 7 months, the restoration was possible thanks to a long phase of studies and diagnostic investigations.
